Protect Beautiful Queensland with Art

Join us in the beautiful Karawatha Forest Park outside the Karawatha Discovery Centre for some free family fun activities suitable for ages 3 - 103 years old!

Australia is home to so many incredible places and an abundance of wildlife that is unique to this amazing land.
BUT, nature in Australia is in trouble - and so are we if we cannot halt the biodiverity crisis we are facing.

If we speak up together and act together, then we can help nature to thrive again. We can take the steps to protect nature and the wildlife that still flourishes in our big backyard -  and we can do more to restore the ecosystems that have been damaged.

Join us to connect with nature and each other as we come together to take action to speak up for nature in Australia.

People making postcards & ribbons using stamps & colouring

On the 20th April we will participate with our friends from the
Queensland Conservation Council to support :
Protect Beautiful Queensland Campaign Week of Action.

Join us in this lovely bushland setting anytime between 10:00am and 2:00pm to create art in nature: make a postcard, write on a ribbon why you want to Protect Beautiful Queensland, or complete a sign and take a selfie. We will show you how to upload it onto a map of beautiful places in Queensland and how you can send these messages to your elected reps. We can stand together and actively demonstrate broad and diverse support for the vision of doubling Queensland's protected areas.

Please RSVP here AND register on Humanitix at this link:

Come along and ensure that your voice is heard by our elected representatives.
